While visiting Lake Superior in Michigan, we took a boat tour of the Pictured Rocks Shoreline. The Lover’s Leap Arch was famous from an old Indian legend. It was such an incredible formation with many colors running through the rocks. I knew I would have to paint this scene when we got off the boat!
