Every year our camper becomes a rolling studio for my “Smoky Mountain Fall Color Plein Air Pilgrimage.”  This 2022 plein air work was inspired by one of the masonry and stone arch bridges found throughout our state and national parks. This bridge (referred to on bridgehunter.com, as the Cades Cove Road Middle Prong Little River Bridge) was completed after World War II in 1948. The fall colors peeking through from under the shadow of the bridge grabbed me.
